Heidelberg: 12h HEK cell timelapse on the OpenFlexure, background and flat-field corrected (2026)

HEK cells imaged in brightfield inside the incubator for 12 hours on our OpenFlexure microscope: a 3×3 tile mosaic, 79 passes. Background- and flat-field corrected only. The passes where autofocus failed are left in, which shows the problem we hit: unstained cells are phase objects and give standard autofocus no clear focus peak. Part of the VOYAGE project by iGEM Heidelberg 2026. https://2026.igem.wiki/heidelberg
