        <description>Title: SweetCycle: Optimizing Steviol Glycoside Biosynthesis for Zero-Calorie Sweetener &amp; Full Plant Circular Economy Description: Excessive added sugar brings severe public health burdens including obesity and type 2 diabetes. Stevia-derived Reb M and Reb D serve as perfect natural zero-calorie sweeteners, but their natural content is too limited for large-scale application. Team SweetCycle applies synthetic biology and enzyme engineering to redesign core enzymes UGT91D2 and UGT76G1 in stevia, significantly elevating the yield of high-quality Reb M and Reb D. We conduct preliminary verification with stevia hairy root cultures and propose a whole-stevia circular economy model: residual plant biomass after sweetener extraction is reused as functional animal feed to achieve zero waste. Ultimately, SweetCycle intends to deliver a sustainable, guilt-free sweet solution that balances human health and agricultural circular sustainability. Official Page</description>
