Every year, industrial discharges release enough phosphorus to fuel algal blooms, oxygen loss, and aquatic ecosystem collapse, while current treatment methods remain expensive, inefficient, and wasteful, just as EU regulations tighten by 2027. rePhlow addresses this through engineered, phosphate-accumulating microorganisms that capture phosphorus across four stages: Inflow, Bio-Accumulation, Filtration, and Circular Recovery; turning a harmful pollutant into a value-added compound for industrial reuse, without generating secondary waste.
