        <description>Title: A New Herbal Approach to Weight Loss: Functional Foods Targeting SULT Enzymes Description: This project targets human sulfotransferases (SULT2B1, SULT1E1, SULT2A1) involved in metabolic regulation. Using a fluorescence-based high-throughput screening platform, natural compounds are screened via molecular docking and validated for SULT inhibition. Synergistic inhibitor combinations are identified using Chou-Talalay analysis. A dual-enzyme biosynthesis system (UGT88D4 + UGD) is engineered in E. coli to produce bioactive flavonoid glycosides. The final formulation is tested in 3T3-L1 adipocyte differentiation models for reduced lipid accumulation and adipogenic gene expression.
