Title: AstraEV- What might a little plant carry? Description: AstraEV asks what a little plant can carry. UV light makes harmful ROS in skin, and the skin’s own defense, the KEAP1–NRF2 switch, can be overwhelmed. Quercetin works fast but wears off, while silencing KEAP1 lasts longer but is slow. We combine both. Our carrier is a vesicle from Astragalus root loaded with quercetin, tested in HaCaT skin cells. A separate KEAP1 tool is tested in NIH/3T3 mouse cells. It is not inside the vesicles. A failed first dose taught us to measure our own dose curve. At 200 µM, quercetin vesicles gave the lowest ROS, though only in single images. K1 siRNA cut KEAP1 by 88.5%, and our plasmid, BBa_26E3H2A3, cut it by about 60% and raised HO-1 about 3.5 times. Two uncalibrated models explore delivery. Eight Human Practices talks shaped the design. We worked safely in a BSL-2 lab. We state our limits openly, and we thank our team, advisors and sponsor. Wiki | Official Page
