Title: Pesticide Cleanup: Broad-Spectrum Degradation and Real-Time Monitoring of Organophosphate Pesticides Description: Widespread use of organophosphorus pesticides, glyphosate and other agrochemicals in modern agriculture creates severe co contamination in soil and water, endangering ecological health and food safety. Conventional remediation techniques are hampered by high expenses and the risk of secondary pollution. With synthetic biology approaches, we built engineered Escherichia coli strains for colorimetric detection and substrate biotransformation, aiming project provides a low cost, efficient and sustainable bioremediation alternative. We selected Escherichia coli DH5α as the cloning host and Escherichia coli BL21(DE3) as the expression host, and completed the construction of recombinant plasmids. For the sensing module, we constructed pETDuet-1-chpR-eforRed and pETDuet-1-phnF-AmilCP. For the biotransformation module, we constructed pET28a-OPD and pET28a-pelB-gat Wiki | Official Page
