We travelled to the agricultural orchard in Chongming Dongtan. On this trip, we tested soil moisture in pear and green vegetable fields, operated the baffles on greenhouse roofs, and toured the strawberry greenhouses. We experienced real farming environments, collected field data, and delivered synthetic biology popular science. Let’s explore farm ecosystems and think about how we can protect crops against drought.
