Title: Starase Atlas - Find Your Enzyme Among the Stars Description: Every molecule has a story. For medicines, fuels, materials, and agricultural products made through biology, that story begins with a question: which enzyme will catalyze the reaction we need? In a universe of protein sequences, finding the right candidate can feel like searching for a single star. Join NJU-China as we build Starase Atlas—an AI-assisted platform that helps researchers chart a course from reactions to enzymes. Our journey connects three instruments: Atlas-COMPASS turns natural-language questions into defined discovery tasks; Atlas-BRIDGE retrieves and ranks enzyme candidates; and Atlas-EDGE makes recorded metabolic knowledge navigable through an interactive graph. We follow a recommendation into the laboratory, where TLC, GC–MS, and proton NMR reveal a previously unreported β-Farnesene synthesis function in M5AW86. Experimental evidence then returns to inform future rankings, connecting prediction and validation in an ongoing cycle. But our atlas is shaped by more than algorithms and experiments. Conversations with researchers, industry partners, users, and biosafety advisors reshape its design and responsibilities. In classrooms and community activities, the same spirit of testing and learning grows into SPARK, a transferable approach to science education. Wiki | Official Page
