This project employs synthetic biology to construct an engineered microbial system that integrates “pollutant detection–signal response–pollutant degradation.” A YhaJ–PyqjF biosensor is utilized to enable rapid detection of 2,4-DNT, while the degradation pathway is reconstructed to achieve its efficient mineralization. This system combines real-time monitoring, green remediation, and low cost advantages, providing an innovative solution for pollution control around furniture manufacturing and polyurethane material production industries.
