Ethics Anthem: Light for Every Heart Inspired by students' discussions on the ethical challenges of medical biotechnology, Team XJTLU-China wrote and performed an original song, Light for Every Heart. Through the perspectives of low-income families, researchers, and other stakeholders, the song explores the tension between innovation costs, affordable diagnostic testing, and equitable access to healthcare. Rather than offering a simple answer, it encourages listeners to reflect on how scientific progress can balance different interests while benefiting more people. By combining storytelling with music, we also incorporated musical intelligence, offering learners a creative way to engage with scientific ethics beyond classroom discussions. The song can be used in science ethics lessons, public exhibitions, and online science communication. Suzhou Bay School also organised an activity in which students learned and sang Light for Every Heart together, exploring its ethical messages through music. The song has also been uploaded to Learning Mall Premium, where future iGEM teams and educators can reuse or adapt it for their own educational activities, supporting the wider sharing of science ethics education resources. https://2026.igem.wiki/xjtlu-china
