Tipping bucket testA thin stream of water from a tap falls into the upper chamber of a 3D-printed boomerang-shaped tipping bucket (about 3–4 mL per chamber). When the chamber fills, the weight of the water tips the bucket to the other side, empties the chamber, and brings the empty chamber under the stream. The bucket tips back and forth repeatedly using only the weight of the water. Each tip also drives the ratchet below the bucket by one tooth, so the number of tips is counted mechanically, without electricity. https://2026.igem.wiki/kyoto
