CUHK-Shenzhen: MD simulation on the membrane penetration of salicylic acid (2026)

This simulation is aimed at exploring the rate of membrane penetration of salicylic acid. By establishing a coarse-grained model and performing a 2 μs simulation, we found that the transmembrane is so fast compared to the inducible expression of reporter genes that it would not be the bottleneck of the performance of our biosensor. Produced by CUHK-Shenzhen iGEM 2026 Dry Lab for the team wiki: https://2026.igem.wiki/cuhk-shenzhen/model
