Conventional diagnostics can only spot these disorders after permanent brain damage appears. We target NfL, a neuronal damage biomarker detectable in blood. Our team combines computational antibody design and wet-lab validation to screen functional antibody pairs. Guided by feedback from medical staff and families, we intend to develop an accessible ELISA kit, allowing early warnings of neurodegenerative diseases using a simple blood test.
