This video provides a sample demonstration of Scheme 3 from our accessible molecular biology toolkit, designed specifically for junior high school students. Because many schools lack the budget for specialized reagents and professional laboratory equipment, we built this toolkit entirely from safe, easily accessible household materials. Covering four key modules—microbial characteristics, cell structures, DNA as genetic material, and microbial metabolism—the toolkit transforms highly abstract textbook concepts into hands-on experiments. Through this demonstration, students can visualize the "invisible" world of genes and DNA directly in their classrooms or at home, effectively lowering the barrier to life-science experiments. This video serves as a quick operational guide to help other teams, educators, and students replicate our experiments. For the complete experimental protocols, material checklists, and downloadable manuals, please visit our Wiki :https://2026.igem.wiki/ouc-china/education#junior-high-school.
