<description>Title: EcoPatch: Aquatic Biomass for Future Wound Care | Team Essential Korea Description: Can aquatic biomass help shape the future of wound care? Team Essential Korea presents EcoPatch, a project exploring how biomass-derived ingredients, flexible hydrogels, and deformation sensing could work together in a future wound-care patch. This presentation follows our research on alginate-degrading enzymes, biological screening of alginate oligosaccharide preparations and water hyacinth extract, reinforced hydrogels, and a silver-nanowire sensing prototype. We explain how experimental results guided our research priorities and how wound-care feedback shaped our proposed applications. Bringing together synthetic biology, materials science, and electronics, we share our findings, their limitations, and the next experiments needed to integrate and evaluate EcoPatch.
