UBrawijaya Indonesia: CATCHER Software (2026)

This video demonstrates CATCHER's Generator, a cross-platform desktop application (Electron) that runs on Ubuntu, Windows, and macOS and brings a complete nanobody design pipeline into a single interface. The demo starts with installing the app and downloading the Docker tools image, which pins every tool to tested versions so the results are consistent on any machine. It then walks through the four stages of the workflow. In the Target tab, a PDB structure is downloaded and analyzed with InterPro, FreeSASA, and DiscoTope-3.0 to map hotspots and epitopes, which are visualized in a live 3D viewer. In the Design tab, RFdiffusion, ProteinMPNN, and RF2 generate candidate nanobody backbones and sequences. In the Screening tab, candidates are scored with PRODIGY and filtered using a composite score chart. In the Construct tab, the selected design is codon-optimized with CodonTransformer and exported as a ready-to-order plasmid FASTA file. The video shows that the whole process, from target selection to a synthesis-ready construct, can be done in one app, with or without an NVIDIA GPU. https://2026.igem.wiki/ubrawijaya-indonesia
