<description>Title: SensePFASt Description: PFAS flow through our rivers and accumulate in our bodies. Europe has answered with strict limits. But the methods that enforce them are slow, expensive, and locked inside specialised laboratories. With SensePFASt, we took four parallel routes to a PFAS biosensor, each built for a different strength: sensitivity, speed, simplicity, and degradation. Our flagship sensor is six times more sensitive than the one it builds on. Alongside it, we designed luminescent hLFABP linkers in silico, tested dual stress promoters in E. coli, and built a yeast laccase platform for future degradation work. None of it happened in isolation. At every step we asked relevant stakeholders, from policymakers and water utilities to researchers and the public. Ultimately, we hope this idea keeps growing with the iGEM generations that follow us. Citations: [1] J.
