Product design: biofilm maintenance When they are tied together (one being the fire-retardant protein and the other being the biofilm monomer), they became a powerful fire-retardant protein complex. Impact of our project: The survivors were upset by the annoyance that it caused and asked if the firefighters could break the curse. The firefighters were amused and suggested the possibilities of the fire-retardant biofilm layer in improving fire safety.
