Today it's more about perservingt the yield, than increasing it. And sadly this opens up an ever larger niech for pathogens. Plant pathogens already account for 30 % of the global yield loss, with number expected to increase dramatically in the future. Whilst we can breed resistances, the development takes up to 10 years and pathogens often adapt quickly. We have to do something! And luckily now we can. We're the iGEM Muenster Team of 2026 and with this video we present to you P.A.C. Immunity. A programmable and modular technology to tailor plant immune sensors to crop pathogens.
