<description>Title: CABOMB Description: Osteosarcoma is an aggressive primary malignant bone tumor prone to metastasis that predominantly affects children and adolescents. Current treatments, mainly surgery combined with chemotherapy, offer limited selectivity, and the heterogeneity of osteosarcoma makes tumor cells difficult to target, leaving the prognosis of advanced patients unsatisfactory. To address these challenges, we propose CABOMB, a targeted therapeutic strategy integrating a delivery module and an effector module, in which nanoscale calcium carbonate serves as the delivery carrier and a multicomponent nuclease (MNAzyme) functions as the effector, enabling tumor-targeted delivery and selective killing. By integrating molecular recognition, conditional activation, and targeted delivery into a modular design, CABOMB holds the potential for multi-site combined intervention and can be extended to a broader range of cancers. This innovative design is expected to break through the selectivity bottleneck of current treatments, expand the boundaries of cancer therapy, and provide a new platform for tumor-targeted therapy.
