We propose a microneedle patch designed to detect hydrogen peroxide and deliver S-acetylglutathione locally. This video presents how we developed and examined its sensing, response, and delivery components through experiments and modelling. Human Practices helped us consider safety, comfort, and how to explain both the potential and the limits of our work. We also wanted people with different experiences of hair loss to be able to engage with the science on their own terms. Through The CHAIR, we created an interactive exhibition, accessible learning materials, and multilingual consultation cards that invite discussion and support informed choices. Those choices include seeking care, choosing no intervention, and embracing one’s appearance.
