Seven Istanbul schools each represented one of Türkiye's seven geographical regions, bringing their traditional dishes, costumes, music and stories together on one stage: GİKAL — Marmara (coordinator), TEB Ataşehir — Aegean, Atatürk Fen Lisesi — Mediterranean, Kadir Has — Central Anatolia, Kadıköy Anadolu Lisesi — Black Sea, Erenköy Kız Lisesi — Eastern Anatolia, Hayrullah Kefoğlu — Southeastern Anatolia, The festival is linked to the project's cookbook, which collects regional recipes and forms part of the iGEM ZipTide (#6490) Human Practices work. Within the ZipTide × 7B7O sub-project, the recipes are evaluated for gut-friendliness and sustainability, with a focus on SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being). Food connects regions, schools and people. https://2026.igem.wiki/gikal Fri, 16 Oct 2026 17:22:06 GMT https://validator.w3.org/feed/docs/rss2.html PeerTube - https://video.igem.org https://video.igem.org/client/assets/images/icons/icon-1500x1500.png https://video.igem.org/videos/watch/e2770d93-8abe-4f18-abe6-e9b9187629ad All rights reserved, unless otherwise specified in the terms specified at https://video.igem.org/about and potential licenses granted by each content's rightholder.
