Title: KeraTINT Description: 96% of commercial hair dyes carry moderate to high health hazard ratings. As an alternative, KeraTINT uses engineered fusion proteins that combine keratin-binding peptides with chromoproteins. The Keratin-binding peptide is a short amino acid chain that can penetrate hair at the cuticle and cortex. It binds to the keratin already in the hair and repairs covalent bonds to improve the tensile strength and restore keratin structure. Chromoproteins are a type of protein bound to a pigmented cofactor called a chromophore. This allows them to provide color to the hair without the damaging effects of traditional hair dyes. KeraTINT both strengthens and colors hair at the same time without using traditional harmful chemicals. Wiki | Official Page
