Evidence-based dietary approaches with and without dairy foods and supplementation strategies are needed to ensure appropriate consumption of calcium and other nutrients in LI individuals. Our ProLac project aims to develop new solutions to improve lactose absorption by modifying probiotics and new tools to make it more convenient to collect the biological samples and more precise to quantify the lactose.
